We are happy to remind you all that UBAC will celebrate the Birth Anniversaries of two great icons of our culture & heritage, namely Kabiguru and Kazi Nazrul, on May 9th at Amran Shrine, Raleigh.

Why UBAC choose Shriners’ Hospital for charity?
We have decided to celebrate RNJ in a place that brings Light & Hope to children who are unfortunate victims of certain health conditions. Shriners’ Hospitals across the USA provide healthcare services, including surgery, FREE to financially impoverished families since 1922. Further Shriners’ halls (like our venue, Amran Shrine Temple in Raleigh) are rented to generate revenue to support the care of those children. 

Hence, this year, UBAC has decided to join this noble cause by hosting our Rabindra-Nazrul celebration at their hall. We are requesting that you all join us by donating $20/family (note: per Family, NOT per Head) or $10 for Singles.

The proceeds from this will be donated to the Amran Shrine to help cover the cost of surgery and other health-related expenses for sick children. Please note you can also donate more for this Noble cause, which will go to Shriners’ Hospital. We are requesting that all of you support UBAC’s charitable effort and be part of Helping Sick Children.
