Charity / Fundraising on 2025
Welcome to UBAC, your gateway to the vibrant world of Bengali culture. We are a passionate team dedicated to preserving and celebrating the rich heritage, timeless traditions, and artistic brilliance that define Bengal.
UBAC only started last year , this made history in the RTP community and donated $ 4210 as part of our charity. This year we also fundraised for Amran Shrine, a non-profit organization that works on providing financial support and specialized medical care to children at almost no cost (through Shriners Children’s Hospital).

The United Bengali Association of Carolina ( UBAC) proudly stands in steadfast testament to the noble mission of the Amran Shriners, specifically honoring their dedicated efforts to provide life-changing medical care for burn-victim children from low-income families. Guided by a shared commitment to humanitarian service, our association intentionally hosts our community events within the Amran Shrine rental hall. This deliberate choice ensures that our venue rental fees, alongside donations from our members go straight toward funding critical, specialized treatments for these resilient children. We believe that financial hardship should never bar a child from essential healing and rehabilitation. Through this purposeful alliance, we are honored to help alleviate the profound burdens carried by vulnerable families and contribute directly to a healthier, more hopeful future for these young survivors.
We are committed to continue to host more events there in near future to support the mission.
A Walk for Nepal’s Flood Victims
In the wake of the devastating floods in Nepal—with over 1,300 lives lost and 5,000+ people missing so far (with count increasing every hour) —the United Bengali Association of Carolina (UBAC) is organizing a charity walk to raise funds and stand in solidarity with the affected families.
