ANNUAL PICNIC
Encourage participation of all members with various informal games and sports activities. This is to cherish Bengali “charoibhati” with cooking, fun, adda and games.
We are happy to announce that the UBAC Annual picnic will be held Saturday, August 23rd (9.00-5.00 pm) at Lake Crabtree Park (Lake Crabtree Park, 1400 Aviation Parkway, Morrisville, NC 27560). Please note that it is a Free Event for UBAC members and visiting parents and family members are also welcome FREE. Non-members are also welcome to join the UBAC picnic for $12 per person.
The event will be full of Fun with exciting Games, Food, Adda, DJ, Surprise and more.
Please note that although we will have a lot of Games with prizes at our picnic, UBAC will host a separate Sports Day in the Fall (details coming soon).
UBAC Picnic Schedule & Details
Date: Saturday, August 23, 2025
Location: Lake Crabtree Park (Lake Crabtree Park, 1400 Aviation Parkway, Morrisville, NC 27560)
Schedule of the day
9.00-9.30 am – Set up
9.30-11 am – Breakfast & Mingling (Freshly made French Toast or Butter Toast, Fresh Fruits, Tea/Coffee & Juices)
10 am -1.30 pm(Lunch Preparation – Cooking at the Spot; Menu: Rice, Muger Dal, Beguni, Alu Soyabean Tarkari, Kosha Mangso, Chutney and Ice-cream)
11-1.30 pm – Games
For Kids: a) Biscuit Race; b) Marble Race; c )Musical Chair;
For Adults: a) Roti in Minutes; b) Couple helping Compatibility; c) Corn hole; d) Musical Chair; e) Tug of War
1.30-2.30 pm: Lunch
3.30-4.00 pm: A SURPRISE
4.00-4.30 pm: Prize Distribution
4.30-5.00 pm: Wrap Up
Volunteering in the UBAC picnic
As in any UBAC event, we need your participation & help for a variety of activities such as
a) Set up & Wrap up
b) Breakfast preparation and distribution.
c) Lunch Cooking;
d) Food set up and distribution.
e) Games and Fun activity management, and
f) Cleaning & wrap up.
